Referring to alleged encroachments on the lands at the Warangal Fort, he said that he would bring the issue to the notice of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy through a letter.

Mr. Reddy on Saturday inspected the modernised Warangal railway station, Thousand Pillar temple, and Railway Manufacturing Unit (RMU) and held review meetings with officials from the State and central governments on the projects sanctioned by the Centre.

“We are spending ₹521 crore as part of the first phase for the Railway Manufacturing Unit constructing with advanced technology. 75% of the work has already been completed here, and we are moving forward with the target of completing it in the next year. It is proposed to manufacture 16 coach MEMU rakes at the RMU. Since there is railway connectivity from here to the entire country, there is a possibility of distributing all types of products manufactured here to all States very quickly,” Mr. Reddy said. He also assured that the pending railway ROBs and RUBs would be completed soon.
