Kejriwal requests HC Chief Justice to transfer excise case to ‘impartial Bench’

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Kejriwal and senior leader Manish Sisodia, among others, on Wednesday requested Delhi High Court Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya to transfer the Delhi excise police case from the “court of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma” to an “impartial Bench”, the party said in an official statement.

In a representation to the Chief Justice, the AAP leaders also “pointed out” that the Supreme Court has set aside several orders of the judge in the Delhi excise policy case.
