KSRTC bus collides with truck in Kerala capital, 12 injured


Around 12 people were injured as a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus rammed a truck near Maruthur at Mannanthala in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, on Wednesday morning. The KSRTC bus had earlier departed from the Thiruvananthapuram depot.

Following the collision, both drivers were trapped inside their vehicles for about half an hour. A Fire and Rescue Services team that arrived at the spot rescued the drivers.

The injured were taken to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.

According to the police, the drivers sustained leg injuries, while the others suffered only minor injuries.
