The tragic bus fire near Chinna Tekur village in Kurnool district has triggered deep sorrow and widespread condolences across Andhra Pradesh.

Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed profound grief over the incident, calling it “deeply distressing.” He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and urged the government to extend all possible assistance and medical support to the injured and affected families.

Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries, Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, expressed deep condolences over the loss of lives and conveyed sympathy to the victims’ families. He described the incident as “heart-wrenching” and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Authorities have been directed to complete post-mortem procedures promptly and ensure effective coordination for relief efforts. The tragic mishap has cast a shadow of grief over the region, with political leaders and citizens alike mourning the loss of innocent lives, he said.

BJP A.P. State President P.V.N. Madhav expressed shock and anguish over the incident, describing the loss of lives in the bus fire as “deeply unfortunate.” He directed BJP leaders in Kurnool to extend all possible help to the victims’ families and assist local authorities in rescue and relief operations. 

Mr. Madhav urged officials to ensure the injured receive the best medical treatment and called upon the government to provide financial support to the bereaved families.
