Magnitude 6.4 earthquake strikes Russia’s Kamchatka region, EMSC says

A magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck off the east coast of the Kamchatka region in Russia on Tuesday (July 22, 2025), the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

The quake was at a depth of 28 km (17.4 miles), EMSC said.
