A 42-year-old man was arrested by the Kunnathunad police for allegedly misappropriating funds to the tune of ₹43.25 lakh from a private company where he was working as a manager. The arrested was identified as Aneesh Thalangattil of Valayanchirangara near Perumbavoor. He has been charged with cheating, the police said.
The accused was arrested on a complaint filed by the management of a Korean-based latex company functioning at Rubber Park India Limited at Irapuram, Perumbavoor. The accused was remanded in judicial custody on Tuesday. The investigation is being led by Inspector Sunil Thomas.
