Manifesto committee of TVK receives suggestions from public in Tiruchi

The election manifesto preparation committee of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has begun holding zonal-level consultations to gather public opinion ahead of the elections.

As part of the exercise, a consultation meeting for the Cauvery delta districts — Tiruchi, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, and Pudukkottai — was held at a private marriage hall in Mannarpuram here on Sunday.

The meeting was chaired by the party’s propaganda and policy general secretary K.G. Arunraj, in the presence of manifesto committee members J.C.D. Prabhakaran and A. Rajamohan.

Representatives of farmers’ associations, industrialists, and labour organisations were invited to share their views and suggestions for inclusion in the party’s manifesto. A suggestion box was placed at the venue and written representations were received from participants, party sources said.
