Two roads were damaged in Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh owing to Montha cyclone impact on Tuesday (October 28, 2025). V. Vinod Kumar, district Collector instructed officials concerned to divert the traffic on these two roads and repair them as early as possible to resume traffic.

“A culvert damaged on a road between Ballikurava and Komminenivari Palem villages in Ballikurava mandal and a fifty feet distance of R&B road damaged Kesavarappadu and Thimidi Padu villages in Karamchedu Mandal in the district,” the Collector informed.
More than 5,407 people were shifted into 119 cyclone rehabilitation centres in the district. They are being provided with food and other necessary relief material.
