Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer (EO) Anil Kumar Singhal directed the officials to increase the number of free buses in Tirumala so that devotees could reach various places at the holy shrine on time. The TTD EO was speaking during a review meeting with the officials at the conference hall of the TTD administrative building, on Saturday.
On hearing about the complaints on private vehicle drivers collecting higher charges from devotees to drop them at Srivari Mettu from Tirupati railway station and bus stand, the EO instructed the TTD Vigilance and Security officials to take action on them. He also asked the officials to initiate steps to remove solid waste materials at Tirumala.
The EO also instructed the TTD staff to make the signboards more attractive for the convenience of devotees. The garden and electrical departments should work in coordination with each other for the beautification of temples, he said.
In the wake of the recent ‘Srivari Brahmotsavam’, where art troupes from various States gave impressive performances, he asked the officials to write letters to Chief Secretaries of the respective States congratulating their troupes.
Mr. Singhal directed the Engineering officials to set up a master database of TTD lands across the country and prepare a report on the management of Kalyana Mandapalu. He further asked to write letters to the Collectors of respective districts regarding land acquisition towards the construction of TTD temples in the agency areas of the State.
The EO ordered the officials to speed up the construction process of TTD temples in several States. He discussed the master plans of Vontimitta, Amaravati and Tiruchanur temples with the Engineering officials and instructed them to take suggestions from Architectural officials on lighting, grills and other issues.
TTD JEO V. Veerabrahmam, CVSO K.V. Muralikrishna, FA & CAO O. Balaji, IT GM D. Phani Kumar Naidu and other officials were also present at the meeting.
