Over 1.57 lakh people, including about 1.42 lakh visitors and over 15,000 farmers, participated in the two-day ‘Agri Business Expo 2025’ at Chennai Trade Centre, which concluded on Sunday.
Over 220 stalls were on display during the event. Of these, 25 stalls were put up by various State government departments, 29 were by private parties, and 168 by various farmers producers organisations, an official release said.
About 121 tonnes of food items, valued at ₹2.89 crore, were purchased by visitors during the ‘Agri Business Expo 2025’, the release said.
