Pet dog attack sparks clash between two neighbours

A scuffle broke out between two neighbouring families in east Delhi’s Geeta Colony after a pet dog allegedly bit a man, the police said on Tuesday.

The incident came to light after a PCR call was received at 11.03 p.m. from Rizwan, a resident of Rani Garden, on Monday. He alleged the pet dog owned by Neelam Singhal bit his house help, Sarthak Negi.

According to the complainant, when he asked Ms. Singhal to keep the dog under control, an argument broke out between the two sides.  “All individuals involved were sent for medical examination, and legal action is being initiated,” said a police officer.
