The Dean, Research and Development Review Journals, Periyar Manammai Institute of Science and Technology, Vallam, Balakumar Pitchai, has found a place in the list of Stanford/Elsevier Top Two Percent Scientists List for the year 2025.
According to a PMIST release, Professor Balakumar Pitchai, who served earlier at higher educational institutions in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia as professor of pharmacology, was also a member of the Editorial team of the pharmacological research journal publisher, Elsevier.
His name figured in the Top Two Percent Scientists List of 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, the release added.
