The Musi Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (MRDCL) is organising a special event titled ‘Musi Invites’ at Taj Krishna in Hyderabad today (March 13) late evening, to present the proposed plans for the rejuvenation and development of the Musi River.
Objectives to be presented
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will attend and unveil the proposed plans for the Musi river rejuvenation and riverfront development project. He will make a detailed powerpoint presentation (PPT) outlining the project’s objectives, including ensuring clean water flow in the river, protecting the environment, developing riverbanks, and creating public infrastructure for citizens.
Members of Parliament, MLCs, MLAs, and prominent leaders from various political parties will also participate in the event. Intellectuals, environmental experts, urban planners, architects, and representatives from trade and business organisations have been invited.
As part of the Musi rejuvenation initiative, the government has decided to take up the Gandhi Sarovar project in the first phase of development.
