To mark the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005, the Karnataka Information Commission is organising an event on October 14 at 11 a.m. at the Yavanika auditorium in State Youth Centre Bangalore, Nrupathunga Road, Bengaluru. The event commemorates two decades of empowering citizens through transparency and accountability in governance.
Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot will participate as the chief guest and preside over the event. Bengaluru Development Authority Chairman and MLA N.A. Haris will be present as a special guest. Several other dignitaries are also expected to attend the function.
