Tiruchi Divisional Railway Manager Balak Ram Negi convened a meeting with 13 newly joined officers of the division belonging to the operations, engineering, mechanical, electrical, commercial, and personnel departments here on Friday where he briefed them on the division’s core priorities and specific targets relating to safety, punctuality, efficiency, and passenger service delivery. He urged them to align their work with these objectives.
He emphasised the need to accord priority to the ongoing work related to passenger amenities at stations, including platform extensions, raising and resurfacing of platforms, provision of additional shelters, seating arrangements, drinking water points, and other essential facilities. Senior branch officers from all departments were present.
