Six injured after man unleashes pet dog on neighbour’s family over parking dispute


 A dispute over motorcycle parking in north-east Delhi’s Subhash Park area took a violent turn when a man and his friends allegedly attacked a neighbour’s family and unleashed a pet dog on them, leaving six persons injured, the police said.

The accused, identified as Shalu, reportedly got into a heated argument with his neighbour Ketan Rathor, 32, over parking arrangements on Monday night. “During the altercation, the accused, along with his friends, physically assaulted Ketan and five of his family members. He also set his pet dog on them before fleeing the scene,” a police official said.

The injured were rushed to Guru Teg Bahadur and JPC hospitals. Five victims have since been discharged, while one remains under  observation. “We received a call about the incident around 11.30 p.m. It was confirmed that the accused, his associates, and the dog were involved in the assault,” the official said.
