Six-month programme on AI for Climate launched

Climate Collective has launched its Data and AI for Climate program on Tuesday with support of Salesforce India CSR.

This six-month certificate programme is designed for students seeking to enter the rapidly growing climate technology sector, said Pratap Raju, founding partner at Climate Collective Foundation.

The course follows after the recent launch of the fourth-year honours degree programme in Data and AI for Climate, in partnership with Mahathi Degree College in Visakhapatnam.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Pratap Raju said: “With India facing increasing climate threats that cost the country $26.3 billion annually in flood damages alone, we urgently need skilled professionals who can develop AI-powered solutions for disaster prediction and climate resilience.”
