Surakshitha Theeram project launched by Kollam City police

Surakshitha Theeram, a project of the Kollam City police, was launched on Saturday. It was inaugurated by Sujith Vijayanpillai, MLA, at the Sakthikulangara harbour. As part of the project, all migrant workers in coastal areas within the Kollam city limits will be registered over the next two months. The project is being implemented with the cooperation of boat operators’ associations, labour unions in the fisheries sector, the Coastal Police, and the Fisheries department.
