Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Monday (March 2, 2026) inaugurated Fintech Tower, a state-of-the-art building with a built-up area of 5.6 lakh sq.ft., which was constructed at a cost of ₹249 crore in Fintech City, Nandambakkam, in Chennai.
Spread over 2.26 acre, Fintech Tower has two basement floors, a ground floor, and 11 other floors. It is aimed at offering premium workspaces tailored for financial and fintech companies. The Chief Minister handed over allotment orders to representatives of M/s. Prime Forex Pvt. Ltd., M/s. Simptra Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and M/s. MidFin Wealth Pvt. Ltd. during the event.
Ministers T.M. Anbarasan and T.R.B. Rajaa; legislators I. Karunanithi and Varalakshmi Madhusudhanan; Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam; and senior officials participated.
Housing units inaugurated
At another event, Mr. Stalin inaugurated 5,367 housing units constructed by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board in Kotturpuram, Mylapore, and Teynampet in Chennai at a total cost of ₹1,261 crore. He also unveiled the foundation for the construction of 1,984 housing units and further handed over allotment orders to beneficiaries.
