Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra remain one of the few Bigg Boss couples whose relationship continued to grow long after the show ended. The two, who have been together since Bigg Boss 15, are now planning to get married in 2026. Tejasswi revealed that Karan wanted to marry her as early as 2022, but her mother advised them to wait.

Speaking on Bharti TV’s YouTube channel, Tejasswi recalled her mother’s reaction when Karan approached her for marriage soon after the reality show wrapped up.
She said her mother told him, “You both just got out of Bigg Boss. Maybe you should spend one year with each other in the real world. It’s not that I doubt you, Karan, but I don’t even fully know my daughter. I feel both of you need some time.”
Tejasswi described herself as “chanchal” and admitted that she tends to commit quickly when she falls in love. For that reason, her mother encouraged her to slow down and think things through.
Sharing how her relationship with Karan began, Tejasswi said he often told others that he liked her, but she expected honesty and direct communication. “Initially, I didn’t know he seriously liked me. I thought it was just a crush,” she said. “I told my friends that if he says it in front of everyone, then I’ll think about it. And then on Weekend Ka Vaar, he said it publicly.”
Karan and Anusha’s Past Relationship
Before his relationship with Tejasswi, Karan was with Anusha Dandekar for three and a half years. They co-hosted MTV Love School between 2016 and 2019, helping couples navigate relationship issues. The two broke up in 2020.
In a 2021 Instagram AMA, when a fan asked Anusha for the “direct reason” behind the split, she responded, “We deserve more honesty, love, and happiness… and it starts with self-love. So, I chose me. That’s it.” Karan, in a separate interview, avoided commenting on the breakup, saying he preferred to stay silent “out of respect for the relationship.”
Recently, Anusha appeared to take a subtle dig at Karan, hinting that he had been unfaithful. Following her remark, both Tejasswi and her boyfriend shared posts that many interpreted as indirect responses.
