The Telangana Police Housing Corporation Limited has been renamed as the Telangana Police Housing Infratech and Consultancy Services Corporation Limited (TGPICS) with effect from Saturday (October 18), following government approval.
TGPICS Managing Director M. Ramesh said that the government issued orders dated October 18, approving the name change and authorising the corporation to operate under its new title, TGPICS.
Explaining the move, Mr Ramesh said the corporation’s activities extend well beyond housing projects and now cover a wide range of consultancy and infrastructure services. These include technology-based and business operations management, project expansion, provision of technical facilities, engineering, project management, technical advice and design, as well as construction and sports-related infrastructure. The corporation also handles logistics and other allied services.
Mr Ramesh said the rebranding reflects the corporation’s broader mandate and its evolving role in delivering technical and infrastructure solutions across various sectors.
