Three killed while desilting agricultural well

Three persons, including a 16-year-old boy, were killed when they fell into an agricultural well after the rope of a crane engaged in desilting operation snapped at Korikishala village in Mogullapally mandal of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district late on Saturday afternoon.

According to sources, the deceased were identified as Deva Rao, 48, Abilash, 16, and Paidaiah, 53. Sources added that Abilash, who just returned home after writing the SSC public exam, met with a tragic end while assisting the duo in the desilting operation. Another person reportedly suffered multiple injuries in the freak accident. He was rushed to the Government General Hospital in Bhupalpally.
