The Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), under state government’s ‘Vetri Nichayam project’, announced the launch of GenRise, a partnership with Generation India Foundation that will upskill and empower 35,000 young people by March 2028.

“With GenRise, we are taking a bold step forward in ensuring that young people from every corner of our state whether rural or urban have the chance to rise, succeed, and contribute meaningfully to our growing economy,” said Deputy Chief Minister, Udhayanidhi Stalin.

Kranthi Kumar Pati, Managing Director, TNSDC said, “Through GenRise, we are introducing innovative training models and advanced monitoring systems that will not only equip our youth with the right skills but also connect them to sustainable, higher-paying jobs.”
