True Religion’s latest collection celebrates Latina heritage in true West Coast style.
The Y2K denim brand collaborated with Bella Doña, the Los Angeles-based women’s brand that fuses streetwear with Chicana culture, on a capsule collection “designed to amplify Latina voices and celebrate sisterhood, community, and confidence through self-expression and intentional design.”
Featuring 18 pieces, the collection pulls signature elements from both brands. True Religion’s low-rise jeans and bootcut silhouettes are combined with Bella Doña’s taste for western appliqué, Spanish slang tees, crystal embellishments and bold cutouts.
Denim highlights include a mid-rise flare jean with thigh-baring cut-outs and denim flame appliqués, a miniskirt and high-rise flare jean with lace-up details and the Joey Low Rise Big T Flare Jean accented with pink and white stitching.
True Religion x Bella Doña
Logo and slogan tees, tanks and shrunken hoodies and sweatpants round out the collection. An embossed belt with a western buckle is also available.
Bella Doña co-founders LaLa Romero and Natalia Durazo said the collection is for women who want to be seen and delivers their message to a broader audience. “Teaming up with a legacy brand like True Religion gave us the platform to go even bigger—repping our roots with pride and turning tradition into a statement,” they said in a statement.
The collaboration is an example of how True Religion is sharpening its focus on the women’s category. In an earlier interview with Sourcing Journal, Blake said it has become evident that the brand’s women’s business needed its own identity.
It also aligns with its storytelling platform, “Own Your True.” Launched in January with Brazilian pop star Anitta, the campaign aims to strengthen True Religion’s position as a cultural leader.
The True Religion x Bella Doña capsule is available exclusively on True Religion’s website for a limited time. beginning July 8th, 2025, for a limited time. The collection comes in sizes XXS-XXXL for tops and sizes 24-42 for bottoms. Retail prices range from $39-$139.
