Two men were arrested by the Hyderabad police for running an illegal extortion racket targeting pushcart vendors near Charminar.
The accused, Shaik Naseeruddin alias Ganna Naseer, 72, a juice vendor from Bhavani Nagar, and Md Azaan Quadri alias Toufeeq, 42, another vendor from Yakutpura, were apprehended near Ruman Hotel in Mirchowk on Thursday, March 12. A third accused, identified as Azhar, is currently absconding.
