Union Minister Rammohan Naidu flags off Rajahmundry-Tirupati flight service; promises more services to Shirdi, Goa, Varananasi, Ahmedabad

Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu has virtually flagged off Rajahmundry-Tirupati flight service on October 1, 2025. Alliance Airlines is operating the Rajahmundry-Tirupati service on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. 

Minister for Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh has flagged off the flight service on the ground at the Rajahmundry airport. The flight will depart at 7.40 a.m. in Tirupati and arrive in Rajahmundry airport at 9.25 a.m. It will take off at 9.50 a.m. at Rajahmundry and arrive in Tirupati at 11.20 a.m.

Addressing the officials of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and public representatives virtually, Mr. Rammohan Naidu has assured to pursue the demand to operate flight services from Rajahmundry airport to Shirdi, Varanasi, Goa and Ahmedabad. “The Rajahmundry-Bengaluru flight service is witnessing 100% occupancy and another flight will be operated to Bengaluru soon,” Mr. Rammohan Naidu said.

Mr. Rammohan Naidu has said all the existing flights being operated from Rajahmundry are witnessing 100% occupancy, signalling huge demand for more services in the future. Rajamahendravaram Member of Parliament D. Purandeswari has joined Mr. Rammohan Naidu during the virtual inauguration. Rajamahendravaram Rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary, Rajamahendravaram city MLA Adireddy Srinivas and Rajamahendravaram Urban Development Authority Chairman Boddu Venkataramana Chowdary were present on the ground.
