Uttam Nagar clash: Delhi police issue takedown notices against inflammatory content

The Delhi police on Friday (March 14, 2026) initiated legal action against several social media accounts for spreading “misleading” and “inflammatory” content related to the alleged murder of a 26-year-old man in the Uttam Nagar Holi clash.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Kushal Pal Singh said they have taken serious note of rumours circulating on social media platforms following the incident. He said the police are coordinating with several social media platforms to remove the offending content and identify the individuals operating the accounts.
