Waiting hall to be constructed at Saidapet Govt. Hospital

A waiting hall will be constructed at the Government Hospital in Saidapet at a cost of ₹1.15 crore from the Member of Legislative Assembly Constituency Development Fund. In September this year, a six-storey building, constructed at a cost of ₹28.75 crore, was inaugurated at the century-old hospital. The emergency unit functions on the ground floor, while the outpatient departments are located on the first floor. The laboratory, in-patient units, the dialysis unit, and four operation theatres have begun to function on the remaining floors, according to a press release.
