Waterlogging issue at govt. hospitals addressed: Minister

Over the last two years, works have been undertaken to prevent waterlogging at government health facilities that were previously prone to inundation. Whether it is a government medical college hospital or a district headquarters hospital, preventive measures have been taken. The issue has been addressed at the Government Royapettah Hospital in Chennai and government hospitals in Thoothukudi. The Public Works Department has also resolved waterlogging problems at several taluk hospitals, Health Minister Ma. Subramanian said on Wednesday.
