A woman passenger was arrested by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Hyderabad zonal unit, after officials seized 4.15 kg of hydroponic weed valued at approximately ₹4.15 crore from her baggage at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad on Sunday (October 26, 2025).
Following a tip-off, the DRI officers intercepted the passenger who had arrived from Bangkok on the intervening night of October 24 and 25.

The woman was taken into custody under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. Officials said further investigation is in progress.
